What tickets do I need to purchase to attend?

Depends on how much time you spend with us! Day passes are available for Friday and Saturday if you aren't able to camp. Otherwise, we have weekend passes that can be purchased per person. Click HERE to purchase tickets.

What time should I check in and out if I plan on camping?

Check-in for all campsites is between 1-5 pm on Thursday, July 9th, and check-out is 10am on Sunday, July 12th.

Will there be restrooms at the Ranch?

Yes! Porta potties will be available throughout the property.

What are the campsite rules I should know ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

Open flames are not permitted at any campsite during this event. We will have community campfires available at the Hub. Propane fire pits are ok.

Only one vehicle is permitted per campsite.

Please refrain from using generators at your campsite. Solar is allowed and encouraged. Your neighbors will thank you.

Quiet hours each day start at 11:00 pm and end at 7:00 am.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Yes! Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you. We just ask that they remain on a leash and as owners, you pick up after them. There will be a $100 fine for not picking up! Dogs are not permitted in any of the buildings except the Lab (classroom).

Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted at The Big Thing and in all buildings. Due to the presence of vehicles, wildlife, and outdoor hazards, handlers are responsible for maintaining control of service animals at all times.

Emotional support animals and pets are subject to general event pet policies.

Do you have potable water on-site?

Yes! We have water stations throughout the property. Locations will be designed on the event map.

Are there electrical hook ups in the campgrounds?

Accepted Answer

Negative ghost-rider. Bring your off-grid solar setups. No generators allowed for everyone else’s sanity.

Can I buy food at the ranch?

There will be food trucks on-site for lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, but you’ll want to be sure to pack food and snacks for your arrival and departure days.

Are there restaurants close by?

Well, kinda. The Land of Magic (steakhouse) is 20 minutes away, and Bridger Brewing and others are in Three Forks and Manhattan.

Is there internet or cell signal at the ranch?

There is no cell signal or public wifi at the ranch!! Starlink is encouraged if you want to stay connected!

Can I buy gas at the XOVERLAND Ranch?

Negative. Commercial fuel is available in Three Forks and Manhattan. Roughly 25 miles away.

Do you have an on-site dump station?

No - you can find in the nearby towns of Three Forks, Manhattan, and Belgrade.

Nope nope nope. Any unattended children will be given sugar and taught swear words.

Will bears eat me?

They can... but that’s highly unlikely. Please keep your campground free of trash so your 
dog and small children don’t go missing.

What’s the best way to navigate to the Ranch?

Depends on which way you’re coming from so drop in the address in Google Maps and let it fly.

Nope. Rental cars are available at the airport.

Do you guys rent vehicles for camping or overland travel?

Negative but reach out to Hatch Adventures and see if they have a vehicle available. Great option if you’re flying in to explore.

Can you make the train quieter in the campground?

Sadly, we cannot. We asked the railroad to move the track and they said no.

Are there public showers at the Ranch?
