Weekend passes

A weekend pass gives you access to XOVERLAND Ranch starting at 1 pm on Thursday, July 9, through Sunday, July 12, at 12 pm. A weekend pass must be purchased for each person traveling in your party and scanned at check-in to enter. Purchasing a campsite is required with the weekend pass and is sold separately.

Day passes

If you are unable to camp with us for the weekend, you're welcome to purchase a day pass for Friday and/or Saturday. This gives you access to the property from 8 am to 10 pm and does not allow for camping. Day passes must be purchased for each person traveling in your party and scanned at check-in to enter.

Campsites

Camping is one of the highlights at The Big Thing. If you're joining us for the weekend, you can select from the following options when purchasing your ticket:

  • General Campsite

  • Lakeside Campsite

  • Tree Campsite

  • Oversized Campsite

  • Brand Meetup Campsite

You can learn more about the options when purchasing your ticket HERE.

All camping will be first come, first serve. We cannot save spots or guarantee that you will be parked next to your friends. We suggest arriving together if you want to camp together. There are no public showers on the property, so plan to bring a camp shower, brush up on your remote travel hygiene skills, or simply take a dip in the lake. Porta potties will be available.

Location

XOVERLAND Ranch

9700 Clarkston Rd

Three Forks, MT 59752

The nearest gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants are about a 20-minute drive from the property. We suggest grabbing anything you may need on your way in!

We are in the wild west, so please be mindful of our rare, local neighbors - including but not limited to: moose, bears, mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, rattlesnakes and quite possibly Bigfoot. Sightings are extremely rare at large events, but please let a ranch staff member know if you see any of the above. #dontpetthecoyote

INTERNET + CELL SERVICE

There is no cell signal at The Ranch!! Starlink is encouraged for those wanting to stay connected.

Food & Beverages

We're lining up a great selection of truck vendors that will be on-site throughout the weekend. We’d suggest packing your own breakfast foods and anything else you might want on arrival and departure days. Remember that restaurants/grocery stores/other services are at least a 20-minute drive from The Ranch, so please shop ahead of time.

General reminders

Wood-burning fires are not permitted at any campsite during this event. We will have community campfires at the Inspiration Hub each evening. Propane fire pits are allowed.

Smoking is prohibited except within designated areas marked with a sign. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacle.

Please pick up after your well-behaved dogs and keep them on leash. No really, please. There will be a $100 fine for not picking up! Dogs are not permitted in any of the buildings except the Lab (classroom).

Bringing your own bike or e-bike is encouraged! Use of motorized vehicles during the event (unless you are going on the trail ride with your rig) is not allowed.

Quiet hours each day start at 11:00 pm and end at 7:00 am.

Potable water spigots can be found in 3 different locations throughout the property, marked by big blue flags. Please use these to fill up your water bottles as needed and stay hydrated!

Please refrain from using generators at your campsite. Solar is allowed and encouraged. Your neighbors will thank you.

Gun Range: While there will be future events at the Ranch where the range will be open, both the short and long ranges will be closed Thursday - Saturday.

Swimming is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Want to leave and explore the area? That’s totally fine! Please just remember your wristband that you were given at check-in. That will be your ticket back in! Drive slowly and carefully through the property on your way in and out.
